Oakcha Kismet is an Extrait de Parfum. Kismet opens with Angelica, Birch, Rosewood, and Lavender, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Geranium, and Freesia, and dries down to a base of Cistus Incanus, Cambodian Oud, Leather, and Sandalwood. Oakcha's Kismet carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

Lavender, rosewood and a full rose-led floral heart sit over leather, Indian sandalwood and Cambodian oud. A rich, woody and leathery scent for evenings. It is Oakcha's take on Imperial.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Kismet is a slow walk from open lavender fields into a woody, leathery evening. Fourteen notes are listed, and the layers shift gradually rather than all at once. The opening mixes angelica, rosewood and lavender with a smoky touch of birch. It is herbal, aromatic and a little sharp. Geranium, rose, white jasmine and freesia then form a full floral heart, with rose in front. The base is the main event. Leather, Indian sandalwood and guaiac wood give a smoky, creamy, dry wood, while rock rose, patchouli and Cambodian oud add resin, earth and depth. It finishes dark and warm. As an extrait it is dense and long lasting, with a trail that stays noticeable for hours. It suits men and women who like florals with a woody, leathery backbone. Wear it in autumn or winter, in the evening or for a smart occasion. Oakcha no longer sells it, and its page has been removed from oakcha.com; this page records it for owners. Bottom line: a rose and lavender opening that dries down to leather, sandalwood and oud.
