Oakcha Royal Loom is an Extrait de Parfum launched in 2026. Royal Loom opens with Tobacco, Passionfruit, and Hookah, settles into a heart of Rose and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Oud and Labdanum. Oakcha's Royal Loom carries an Acquired verdict, a musk-led wear.

Juicy passionfruit and tobacco lead into saffron, rose and a deep oud and labdanum base. Oakcha's take on Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Passion Oud, and a strong, rich evening scent.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Oud, saffron and labdanum belong to the colder months, where their weight feels right. Heat makes them overpowering.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal

The richness and smoke suit formal evenings and special occasions. It is too strong for most offices.

About

Royal Loom begins with a surprise. Passionfruit is bright and juicy, but tobacco leaf and a curl of hookah smoke pull it somewhere darker, like fruit on a silk cushion in a candlelit room. The heart brings saffron, golden and a little leathery, and rose gives it a round, velvety bloom. These two make the oud feel polished rather than rough. In the dry-down, labdanum adds a warm, resinous sweetness and oud gives the whole thing a deep, woody, slightly animalic backbone. As a 30 percent extrait, it lasts all day and keeps a smoky trail on fabric for even longer. Two sprays are enough. It suits autumn and winter, evenings out, weddings and any occasion where you want to look put together and a little regal. Bottom line: a plush fruity oud with a smoky, golden heart.
