Jimmy Choo

The debut Jimmy Choo fragrance built its identity on an unusual pear-and-toffee pairing set against a woody-patchouli base, and this One Pure Drop oil keeps that combination front and centre. The pear opening is juicy and true, moving into a toffee-sweet heart that's arguably even sweeter than the original. The tiger orchid and green facets that add polish to the real fragrance are muted here, and the patchouli-amber base reads simpler and less smoky than the original's more sophisticated woody finish. It still lands as a glamorous, flirty fruity-woody scent in the same family as the real thing, just with the sweetness turned up and some of the refinement dialled back. As an oil it applies discreetly and holds up well for a few hours of evening wear.
