Avalanche Fruity Ultra leans hard into the fruit, just as its 'Intense' muse intends. The opening is a generous burst of pineapple - cranked up here - with blackcurrant, apple and bergamot piling on the juicy sweetness. The heart keeps the familiar Aventus woody-smoky framework with dry birch, patchouli and a touch of rose and jasmine, though the fruit never really lets go. The base of musk, oakmoss, ambergris and a fuller dose of vanilla adds warmth and a sweeter finish than the standard version. As a dupe it nails the amplified fruity character, but renders flatter and more linear, the radiant projection of the real thing softened to a skin-near presence with moderate longevity.
