Inspired by Armani Prive Cuir Majeste, it chases that hypnotic, mysterious leather-and-fruit character that makes the original feel rich and enveloping. As a Perfume Parlour version it renders the blend flatter and more linear, with the inexpensive leather and dried-fruit accords weighted up and the costlier oud and tobacco nuances softened, so it projects less and sits closer to the skin than the original's above-average sillage.
