Crimson Venom

Crimson Venom opens on a juicy rush of wild strawberry, ripe strawberry and blackberry drizzled in caramel - sweet, tempting and unmistakably the berry-candy hook of SHL 777 Venom Incarnat. The heart deepens with raspberry, warm cinnamon and dry Virginian cedar, adding a spicy-woody richness. As it settles, the scent turns darker and more mysterious with leather, vanilla, tonka, patchouli and balsam fir, recreating the masquerade of sugary fruit over a black-leather underbelly. Against the original, Perfume Parlour leans the candied strawberry forward while the bitter, dangerous leathery 'venom' contrast and the original's strong sillage are tamed, so it reads sweeter and a little flatter. Projection is good early before settling, with respectable longevity. A sensual, slightly daring fruity-leather for cool-weather date nights and evenings.
