Fled For Men

Perfume Parlour Fled For Men is an Eau de Parfum launched in 1993. Fled For Men opens with Eucalyptus, Melon, Juniper, and Grapefruit, settles into a heart of Rosemary, Cypress, Fir, and Sage, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Amber, Patchouli, and Oakmoss. Perfume Parlour's Fled For Men carries a Favourite verdict, a green-led wear.

Fled chases Calvin Klein's Escape for Men - an aqueous melon-and-mango opening cut with eucalyptus, settling into green forest woods over mossy patchouli. The dupe gives a touch more body than the famously fleeting original, while keeping that nostalgic 90s aromatic-green character intact.

About

Fled opens with the same memorable, deliberately synthetic blast that made Escape a 90s icon - aqueous cantaloupe melon and tropical mango, sharpened by camphoraceous eucalyptus, bright grapefruit, juniper and bergamot. The heart turns green and foresty, an aromatic weave of rosemary, cypress, fir, sage and birch threaded with a salty sea note that conjures coast and woodland at once. The drydown grounds everything on patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood and a touch of amber, giving the green opening a warm, mossy anchor. The original Escape is notorious for fading fast; this budget version actually holds up reasonably well by comparison, though it renders some of the green-aromatic nuance a little more linear and the woods slightly flatter. Even so, it captures that breezy, outdoorsy, distinctly 90s personality that keeps Escape a nostalgic favourite, an easy reach for warm spring and summer days and active casual wear.
