Greek Island opens with a bright flourish of lavender, lemon and bergamot, an aromatic lift that mirrors Xerjoff Naxos's distinctive overture. The heart turns rich and sweet with golden honey, cinnamon and a touch of jasmine sambac over soft cashmeran, before a base of creamy vanilla, tonka and tobacco leaf settles into a cosy, gourmand drydown. On skin it wears as a sophisticated, sensual sweet-tobacco scent, warm and a little spiced. Where Naxos feels smooth, balanced and luxuriously deep with strong early projection, the dupe is more linear and skin-close, the honey reading a touch sharper and the tobacco less refined. Longevity is the main trade-off against an original known for marathon wear, but for autumn and winter evenings and dressed-up dates it delivers a convincing, affordable echo of a modern niche classic.
