Mystic Lumina

Mystic Lumina opens nutty and powdery: a creamy almond dusted with incense and a flicker of pink and black pepper - the soft, distinctive lead of Creed's Delphinus (2024). The heart turns gently floral and powdery with orris, sweet heliotrope and an airy orchid, evoking a soft, waxy makeup-like vibe. The base smooths it out with creamy bourbon vanilla, sweet tonka bean, warm amberwood, earthy patchouli and a whisper of leather. Perfume Parlour's interpretation captures Delphinus's nutty, powdery almond-vanilla and that soft, elegant femininity convincingly, but it reads a fraction flatter and a touch sweeter, the delicate orris-powder and leather-incense depth thinner than the niche original. Where Delphinus offers excellent sillage and 8+ hour longevity, here it is more moderate. The effect stays soft and comforting - a powdery almond-vanilla for autumn and winter, at home on evenings, dates and cosy nights in.
