Precious Metal For Women

Perfume Parlour Precious Metal For Women is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2015. Precious Metal For Women opens with Raspberry, Orange Blossom, Bergamot, and Musk, settles into a heart of Musk, Ylang-Ylang, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Papyrus, Amber, and Musk. Perfume Parlour's Precious Metal For Women carries a Favourite verdict, a musky-led wear.

A budget take on Bvlgari's Goldea - the same smooth, buttery musk threaded through orange blossom, ylang-ylang and jasmine with a raspberry sparkle. Precious Metal lands that radiant musky-floral glow but reads a touch flatter and simpler, and its longevity sits at the lower end, like the original's already variable performance.

About

Precious Metal opens on a soft, musky shimmer brightened by raspberry, orange blossom and bergamot - the signature glow of Bvlgari's Goldea (2015), Alberto Morillas's modern, sun-warmed musk. Musk runs through every layer: the heart pairs it with voluptuous ylang-ylang and a cascade of jasmine, while the base settles onto patchouli, papyrus, amber and yet more musk for a smooth, buttery finish. Perfume Parlour's version captures that all-musk-everything character convincingly, with the same airy floral lift and golden warmth. It reads a fraction flatter and simpler than the original, and the musk a touch less radiant, so it misses some of Goldea's seamless luminosity. Longevity is moderate - fitting, given the original itself drew mixed reviews, from three hours to eight depending on skin. The effect is sensual and elegant: a warm, skin-flattering floral musk. Best in spring and cooler months, it suits dates, evenings and smarter occasions.
