This is Perfume Parlour's budget interpretation of Creed Cedre Blanc, a fresh, understated woody. It opens bright and green - bergamot lifted by aromatic bay leaf, sappy galbanum and a spiced cardamom warmth. The heart softens into a gentle woody-floral of geranium, lily and jasmine, never heavy, keeping the composition polite and airy. The base is the whole point: a clean, dry white cedar grounded by earthy vetiver and creamy sandalwood, that subtle cedar-as-background-noise character the original is known for. Cedre Blanc itself is a modest performer at 4-to-6 hours with quiet projection; the dupe keeps the fresh-green-to-cedar arc but renders the woods thinner and more linear, with wear pulled in close. For an inexpensive, refined cedar-fresh daily that nods to a luxury house, it captures the clean, easygoing character for the money.
