Perfume Parlour Revival is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2011. Revival opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Petitgrain, and Tangerine, settles into a heart of Rose, Lily Of The Valley, and Mint, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Patchouli. Perfume Parlour's Revival carries a Favourite verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's budget take on Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance - a luminous Italian-citrus and mint opening, like a refined mojito, over a soft white-floral heart and a clean amber-cedar-musk base. PP captures the bright, sophisticated, compliment-getting character of the niche original, but renders it a touch flatter and thinner, with the density of the Xerjoff softened. Elegant summer freshness for a fraction of the price.

About

Revival is Perfume Parlour's affordable interpretation of Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance, the bright 2011 niche citrus. It opens luminous and invigorating - tangerine, amalfi lemon and bergamot lifted by a cool petitgrain and a sprig of mint, the 'refined mojito' freshness reviewers love. A soft floral heart of lily of the valley and rose adds a clean, slightly herbal roundness, before a quiet base of amber, virginia cedar, patchouli and musk gives a powdery, sophisticated finish. The original is prized for its surprising density and 8-10 hour summer longevity; as a budget dupe this version keeps the elegant citrus-mint signature but lands thinner and more linear, with the rich, dense quality of the Xerjoff dialled back and longevity more moderate. A clean, refined citrus-aromatic for warm-weather casual days, the office and even smart-casual formal wear.
