Special Evening

Perfume Parlour Special Evening is an Eau de Parfum. Special Evening opens with Pomelo, Ginger, Blackberry, and Freesia, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Iris, and Orchid, and dries down to a base of Amber, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Patchouli. Perfume Parlour's Special Evening carries a Statement verdict, a amber-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's affordable answer to Delicious Night, trading the original's plush, resinous depth for a lighter, skin-close version of the same fruity-floral-to-smoky-amber arc. The bones are all here - blackberry and freesia up top, an iris-jasmine heart, incense and patchouli below - just rendered flatter and softer.

About

This is Perfume Parlour's budget interpretation of Delicious Night, an evening-leaning oriental floral. It opens bright and a touch juicy, with pomelo, ginger and blackberry over cool freesia, before settling into a powdery floral heart of iris, jasmine and orchid. The drydown is the most characterful stretch: amber, frankincense and myrrh laced with earthy patchouli and a whisper of vetiver, giving a smoky, resinous warmth. Against the original it reads less plush and refined - the incense is thinner, the amber more linear, and the expensive resin facets are dialled back. Longevity and projection both sit modest and close to the skin, where the original carried further. For the price it still delivers a convincing smoky-floral evening signature, ideal for cooler nights when you want depth without the spend.
