The heart turns warmly spicy - nutmeg and cinnamon lead, with a soft plum and juniper berry sweetness and a watery floral lift from water lily. The base is the most luxurious phase: labdanum and amber give a resinous warmth, while patchouli and a touch of leather add a smooth masculine grounding. Against the original, this Perfume Parlour take captures the overall fresh-spicy-to-warm arc but renders the transitions blockier and the leather-amber drydown a touch synthetic, losing some of Made to Measure's refined smoothness.
