This is the marzipan-and-vanilla signature that made Parfums de Marly Pegasus Exclusif a crowd-pleaser, and the Perfume Parlour version captures the comforting sweetness convincingly. The drydown leans on vanilla, amber and sandalwood with a wisp of oud and guaiac wood for a smoky-woody base. Against the original it reads simpler and skin-closer - the smoky oud facet is muted, projection stays modest, and the longevity is moderate rather than the all-day power of the Exclusif. As an affordable stand-in for cool-weather wear it delivers the almond-vanilla warmth most people reach for, just with less of the dark, resinous depth.
