The real L'Eau de Chloe takes the brand's rich, powdery rose DNA and gives it a crisper, more citrusy, chypre-leaning treatment, making it easier to wear day to day than the denser original Chloe. This version reproduces the citrus-rose pairing well and keeps a similarly fresh, clean character running through the wear. It falls a little short on the aldehydic sparkle and the more sophisticated chypre backbone that gives the real L'Eau its polish, resolving into a simpler, more straightforward rose-musk finish. A pleasant, easy rose-citrus scent for anyone wanting Chloe's lighter side without the original's price.
