No. 25 opens with sparkling bergamot and mandarin, the same citrus lift that greets you in Dior's Joy, before moving into a rose and jasmine heart softened with peach. It follows the original's luminous floral-woody-musk structure fairly faithfully in concept, but the rose and jasmine here read thinner and less saturated than the Grasse-sourced naturals in Joy, and the creamy sandalwood-musk base arrives sooner and stays closer to the skin. Longevity is modest, typically fading to a soft musk within three to four hours rather than the six-plus hours the original manages. It is a pleasant, easy-wearing everyday floral for anyone chasing the bright, happy mood of Joy without the investment, though it lacks the original's polish and lasting power.
