Truefitt & Hill's Apsley opens with a sharp, invigorating hit of grapefruit and a kick of pepper and vetiver, quickly settling into a robust, woody heart of patchouli and cedar. The cedar can be quite assertive, almost leaning into a 'pine disinfectant' territory for some. It finishes with a clean, slightly musky dry-down, reminiscent of a classic shaving soap.
