What holds it together

Split in two because orchard fruit and tropical fruit behave differently on skin. Orchard fruit is juicy and sharp, and it fades. Tropical fruit carries lactones, which are creamy and persistent, and which pull toward the gourmand and woody families.

Strongest first. A note's family value is the highest of its member facets, not their average - averaging would let a note that is emphatically one thing and nothing else read as weak, which is the opposite of what the family is for.
