This "Edition Or Nacrée" is divisive. While the bottle is certainly a looker, the heavy-handed patchouli has left some fans utterly disappointed, turning off those who expected a lighter, more floral experience. It's a statement scent, but perhaps not the one everyone wanted.

Madame Rebel takes the citrus-and-blackcurrant opening and jasmine-patchouli heart that make Chanel Coco Mademoiselle so recognisable, but flattens the composition into a simpler fruity-floral with less of the original's smoky, tobacco-tinged depth. It's a lighter, more one-dimensional read on the same idea.
