Sugar cookie is the pale, soft-baked butter cookie made from flour, sugar, butter, egg and vanilla, usually finished with white icing or sugar sprinkles. As a perfumery accord it is read through sugar, butter and vanilla rather than through toasted grain, which is what separates it from the general Cookie note.
Scent Profile
Sugar Cookie smells like a sweet medley of sugary notes mingled with warm butter and vanilla. That sweet vanillic character is nearly the whole note, creamy rather than sharp because the butter pulls the sugar into a soft shape. A buttery, lactonic warmth leads alongside it, closer to buttercream icing than to plain butter. Nothing here points to a toasted, nutty grain.

Not a raw material. It is a composed gourmand accord, built from vanillin and ethyl vanillin, sugar and caramel materials, and creamy lactones standing in for butter and buttercream. No manufacturer or perfumery-materials house was found selling 'sugar cookie' as a captive or a base.

Attested in 5 Fragrantica perfumes and none on Parfumo. Use it in the base of a sweet gourmand where a pale, buttery, iced-biscuit sweetness is wanted rather than the darker toasted-grain register of Cookie or the raw floury one of Cookie Dough.
