Fire of God opens with a genuinely juicy mango blast spiked with ginger and lemon, plus a touch of red berries - a fairly faithful echo of the original's photorealistic tropical-fruit signature that made it go viral. The transition into the heart is where the gap widens: jasmine and generic woody notes stand in for the original's more intricate floral-woody balance, giving less nuance and depth. The base brings amber, musk and oud, aiming for that glowing, captivating trail the original is famous for, but landing softer and less layered, with noticeably less projection and staying power once the fruity opening fades. Still, for the price, it's a fun, wearable approximation of a distinctive tropical-amber fragrance that's otherwise hard to find outside niche pricing.
