Alexandria UK Malibu Beach is an Eau de Parfum. Malibu Beach opens with Lemon Zest, Galbanum, and Mint, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom and Ivy, and dries down to a base of Vetiver, Patchouli, and Oakmoss. Alexandria UK's Malibu Beach carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Malibu Beach is Alexandria UK's dupe of Amouage's Beach Hut Man, capturing the mint-lemon-galbanum opening and green vetiver heart reasonably well, but the sillage is markedly quieter and the moss-driftwood base fades faster than Amouage's niche-grade performance.

About

Malibu Beach opens with a bracing wave of mint and lemon peel over green galbanum, a cool, sea-spray freshness that closely tracks the coastal, aromatic character Amouage built into Beach Hut Man. The heart moves into ivy and orange blossom, a leafy, slightly sweet green accord that keeps things natural rather than synthetic-fresh. The base settles into vetiver, patchouli and a soft mossy driftwood facet, echoing the earthy, sun-bleached wood the original is prized for. What separates it from Beach Hut Man is projection and depth: Amouage's version is known for excellent sillage and a long, textured dry-down, while Malibu Beach's performance is noticeably more restrained, drifting closer to skin within a few hours and losing some of the layered moss-and-wood complexity along the way. It still reads as a genuinely fresh, green-aromatic coastal scent well suited to warm days, casual outings or sport wear, just without the all-day projection of the niche original.
