Ouddiction opens with a bold oud accord sparked by saffron, nutmeg and clove, replicating the fiery entrance of Oud for Greatness but with a rougher, more synthetic edge than Initio's polished original. The heart softens into a creamy vanilla with resinous labdanum, tempering the smoky oud with sweetness in a similar way to the designer version, though the transition feels less seamless here. As it dries down, incense, cedar and amber build a warm, ambery finish that lasts a few hours rather than the original's heavyweight performance.
