Egoli

Egoli takes its name from the Zulu word for Johannesburg, often translated as the place of gold. That sense of warmth runs through the fragrance, from its glowing amber to a honey-like balsamic accord. The opening pairs bright Brazilian orange and Bulgarian lavender with tuberose and jasmine sambac, creating a fresh floral lift before the deeper notes emerge. Atlas cedar and patchouli give the heart a dry, woody frame. In the base, Laotian oud brings a smoky, faintly fruity and animalic quality, softened by earthy vetiver and musk. The result is dense and resinous, with a golden sweetness that never loses its darker oud character.
