Aromara Golden Amber is an Extrait de Parfum. Golden Amber opens with Green and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Gourmand, Amber, Melon, and Pineapple, and dries down to a base of Woody, Musk, and Vanilla. Aromara's Golden Amber carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Golden Amber is Aromara's take on Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition, matching the sweet melon-pineapple-amber signature at 35% Extrait. It captures the crowd-pleasing fruity-amber character well, though the vanilla base runs a shade thinner than the original's syrupy richness.

About

Golden Amber takes on Al Haramain's Amber Oud Gold Edition, a sweet, fruity-amber scent that has become one of the most recognisable crowd-pleasers in the affordable niche space. Bergamot and green notes open briefly before giving way to the scent's real character: melon and pineapple blending with amber and a soft gourmand accord for a juicy, tropical-leaning sweetness that's instantly appealing. Vanilla, musk and woody notes settle the base, giving the composition a warm, slightly sticky finish that lingers well into the evening. It's an unashamedly sweet, moreish scent, closer to a dessert than a traditional oud despite the name, and it wears that identity with confidence. Against the £95 original, Golden Amber reproduces the fruity-amber signature convincingly, the melon-pineapple-amber combination is a close match, and the overall sweetness level lands in the right place. Where it falls slightly short is richness: the original's vanilla-amber base has a syrupy, almost caramelised density that Golden Amber's version doesn't quite reach, fading a touch sooner into a lighter musk. Still, for a fraction of the price it delivers the same instantly likeable, crowd-pleasing sweetness that made the original a bestseller, and it suits cooler-weather casual wear and dates where a warm, sweet signature reads inviting rather than overwhelming.
