Aromara Mocha Noir is an Extrait de Parfum. Mocha Noir opens with Cinnamon, Hazelnut, Apricot, and Coconut, settles into a heart of Chocolate, Coffee, Coconut, and Caramel, and dries down to a base of Musk, Cedar, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean. Aromara's Mocha Noir carries an Acquired verdict, a gourmand-led wear.

Mocha Noir is Aromara's take on Lorenzo Pazzaglia's Coffee Passion, a rich coffee-and-cream gourmand. The roasted coffee-chocolate-caramel core is unmistakably close, though at 35% Extrait it reads a touch sweeter and louder than the niche original's more balanced roast.

About

Mocha Noir opens with apricot, coconut and hazelnut warmed by cinnamon, quickly moving into a heart built almost entirely around roasted coffee, coconut milk, caramel and chocolate - dessert-in-a-cup territory that mirrors the appeal of the original niche release. Vanilla, tonka bean, cedarwood and musk round out the base, keeping it warm and comforting rather than sharp. The dupe leans sweeter and simpler in its coffee accord than the real Coffee Passion, which balances its roast note against genuine bitterness and depth; here the caramel and chocolate dominate more, making it friendlier but less nuanced. It is an unapologetically cosy, cold-weather scent, best worn casually or on dates where a warm gourmand trail is welcome, with good persistence and noticeable projection.
