About

This dupe borrows Halfeti's dark rose-and-oud skeleton, opening on bergamot and grapefruit before a heart of rose, jasmine and saffron settles into an oud and sandalwood base. The original builds slowly through cardamom and leather into a genuinely opulent spice-trader's fragrance; here the transition is quicker and louder, with the saffron pushed forward and the leather-and-vanilla depth of the original largely absent. Still, the rose-oud pairing is legible and the dupe wears as a reasonably rich, slightly sweet oriental for anyone who wants Halfeti's mood on a budget rather than its full complexity.
