No. 388 opens with a bright bergamot-violet-orange trio that mirrors The Only One's cheerful start. The heart brings iris, coffee, pear and rose together, though the iris - which gives the original its soft, powdery sophistication - is much fainter here, letting the coffee and rose lead more directly. The patchouli-vanilla-caramel base delivers the same comforting gourmand warmth D&G is known for, but the caramel arrives earlier and stays sweeter throughout, crowding out the patchouli's grounding effect and shortening the overall complexity of the dry-down. Wear time sits around four to six hours before it settles into a simple vanilla-caramel skin scent.
