Blossom Perfumery 422 Bloom is an Eau de Parfum. 422 Bloom opens with Jasmine, settles into a heart of Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Rangoon Creeper. Blossom Perfumery's 422 Bloom carries an Acquired verdict, a white floral-led wear.

422 mirrors Gucci Bloom's spare three-note structure - jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper - almost exactly. The white florals come through clearly in the opening, but the dupe is noticeably thinner and less radiant than the original's lush, garden-like bloom, and it settles to skin scent within a couple of hours rather than lingering all day.

About

422 leans directly on Gucci Bloom's minimalist floral formula, built around the same trio of jasmine, tuberose and the unusual Rangoon creeper note. The opening jasmine is fresh and true, and the tuberose heart brings a creamy richness that is recognisably in the same family as the original. Where it falls short is depth and diffusion - Gucci's version has a lush, almost overripe garden quality that carries for hours, while this version is flatter and fades to a faint powdery musk far sooner. It works well as an easy, inexpensive way to sample the general white-floral idea for daytime, but anyone expecting the original's richness or all-day performance will be disappointed.
