502 leads with the same vivid peach-and-blood-orange burst that made Tom Ford's Bitter Peach an instant favourite, and the rum-cognac heart delivers a similar boozy warmth. That opening hour is a genuinely convincing match. The difference shows up in the base: Bitter Peach's patchouli-vanilla-labdanum foundation is thick, resinous and famously long-lasting, carrying the fragrance for most of the day, while 502's version of that base is noticeably lighter and thins out sooner, leaving mostly a soft vanilla-musk in its final hours rather than the original's dense gourmand richness. A fun, juicy take on the peach-and-boozy theme, just without the marathon staying power of the scent it's inspired by.
