510 | Inspired by Mandarino di Amalfi opens exactly where it should, with a sparkling wave of lemon and grapefruit lifted by mint, basil and a whisper of blackcurrant, capturing the sun-warmed citrus rush the original is known for. The heart brings orange blossom and jasmine together with clary sage, shiso and coriander for a green, slightly spicy floral character that keeps the composition interesting rather than one-note. The base, though, is where the gap to the original shows most: musk, vetiver, civet and labdanum settle into a soft, slightly powdery finish that lacks the layered warmth and richness of Tom Ford's version. Longevity is on the lighter side, mostly a two-to-three hour affair before it fades to skin scent, which suits its role as a fresh daytime citrus rather than an all-day statement. A solid, breezy summer option if reapplication is not a dealbreaker.
