About

J'adore is Dior's flagship floral, built from an unusually large bouquet - six fruits and florals up top giving way to eight heart notes anchored by rose, jasmine and tuberose - all polished into something that smells like one seamless flower rather than a list of ingredients. Dupe Jaime borrows nearly the entire note list, right down to the magnolia and orchid, so on paper the match is close. In practice the blending is looser: the fruits sit a little more separate from the florals instead of melting together, and the heart leans sweeter and simpler than J'adore's rose-jasmine-tuberose trio, which is famously smoothed to a near-seamless finish. The base keeps cedar, musk and vanilla but drops off sooner, missing the soft, lingering warmth that makes the original wearable for a full day and evening. Close in concept, softer in execution.
