Eden's No.412 is inspired by Cartier's La Panthere, celebrated for bringing the classic chypre structure into a modern, luminous shape built around a gardenia heart and velvety musk base. The dupe opens with a fruity flourish of rhubarb, strawberry and dried fruits alongside bergamot and anise, before the gardenia takes over in the heart alongside orange blossom, pear, rose and ylang-ylang - a fair reflection of the original's opulent floral core. The base of musk, oakmoss and patchouli nods to the chypre backbone that reviewers highlight as one of La Panthere's standout features, though it comes across thinner and less velvety than Cartier's own formulation, which is known for strong three-to-four-hour initial projection and lasting seven to nine hours or more on skin. Eden's version fades sooner and the floral heart reads a touch flatter, but the fruity-floral-chypre identity is unmistakably there.
