House of Matriarch Antimony is an Extrait de Parfum launched in 2016, created by Christi Meshell. House of Matriarch's Antimony carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

Antimony is a dark, resinous and earthy blend of copal, frankincense, palo santo and oud. Ash, mitti attar and spikenard add a dry, earthy depth, with rose and butter for contrast. It is complex and unusual, best for adventurous noses who like incense and smoke.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

The note list reads like a resin and earth collection. Copal, frankincense and palo santo provide a smoky, resinous core, with ash and oud adding a dark, dry depth. Mitti attar and jatamansi bring an earthy, rooty quality, while henna, kadam, pandanus and galangal add green, herbal and spicy touches. Sandalwood and butter soften the edges, and rose gives a floral thread through it all. It is dense, smoky and unusual.
