Juliet Rose Pahuna Pakele is an Eau de Parfum, created by Juliet Rose. Pahuna Pakele opens with Papaya, Bergamot, Orange, and Lime, settles into a heart of Kiwi, Tiare Flower, Hibiscus, and Ginger, and dries down to a base of Chocolate, Amber, Oakmoss, and Tonka Bean. Juliet Rose's Pahuna Pakele carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Pineapple and coconut lead this juicy tropical, with mango and tropical flowers over a warm tonka and amber finish. It is a bright summer scent that most wearers find joyful and long lasting, though one reported an oakmoss turn.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Summer
Also Works:
Spring

Summer is the clear season: it takes every vote, and the juicy pineapple and coconut read as a holiday scent. Spring is a sensible second, while autumn and winter attract almost no support.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual

Day votes lead and wearers describe an easy, bright, very wearable fruit scent, so casual daytime wear fits best. It is too loud and sweet for most office or formal settings, and nothing in the evidence ties it to exercise or date night.

About

Pahuna Pakele takes its name from the Hawaiian for a tropical escape, and it plays that part directly. The first spray is a bright rush of pineapple, coconut and citrus, with papaya, watermelon and lime tucked behind them. Wearers describe the opening as juicy and sweet, and one compares it to a very true piña colada. Within minutes the scent settles into a warm, blended fruit heart. Mango and pineapple stay in front, tiare flower and hibiscus add a soft tropical floral note, and kiwi and ginger keep the sweetness from sitting flat. The coconut turns creamy and lactonic as it dries. The base is gentle: tonka bean and amber give it warmth, with benzoin, cacao and a little oakmoss underneath. Opinion is not unanimous. Most wearers find it joyful, long lasting and very summery, and one buyer reports compliments from strangers. Another found the oakmoss came through and made the whole scent smell synthetic. On skin it is reported to last around four hours, and much longer on fabric. It is a daytime holiday scent for warm weather, and it asks for little in the way of occasion. Wearers who enjoy fruit-and-coconut summer fragrances will recognise the type at once. It is made by hand by Juliet Rose and sold under the name Pineapple Coconut on the shop's Etsy listings.
