L'Occitane en Provence Calanques is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2010, created by Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. Calanques opens with Lemon, Mandarin, and Pistachio, settles into a heart of Water Accord and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Woody Notes, Cypress, Pine, and Benzoin. L'Occitane en Provence's Calanques carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Calanques EDT pairs sunny citrus with a watery heart and a resinous pine and cypress base. It is fresh without being generic, and works on anyone who likes an outdoorsy scent.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Calanques EDT opens with a bright mix of pistachio, mandarin and lemon, juicy and a little creamy at the edges. A water accord and jasmine form the heart, giving a clear, airy, lightly floral feel. The base turns to the outdoors, with cypress, pine, benzoin and woody notes adding a resinous, green dryness that lasts. Overall it is a fresh, aromatic woody scent that feels open and clean, with enough resin at the bottom to stop the citrus feeling thin.
