Maison Louis Marie No.14 Icila is a perfume oil launched in 2024, created by Marie du Petit Thouars. No.14 Icila opens with Mandarin Leaf, Grapefruit, and Jasmine, settles into a heart of Rose, Osmanthus, and Plum, and dries down to a base of Cherry Blossom, Vanilla Blossom, and Patchouli. Maison Louis Marie's No.14 Icila carries a Favourite verdict, a fruity-led wear.

A warm, jammy floral: dark plum, osmanthus and patchouli under a bright grapefruit and jasmine opening. As an oil it stays close to the skin, a quieter everyday take on the eau de parfum for anyone who wants a scent that is just for them.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Fall
Also Works:
Winter

Dark plum, osmanthus and patchouli give it a warm, jammy weight that suits autumn best, with cool spring days a close second. It is too rich to be a natural hot-weather pick.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Office Date

A close-to-skin oil with discreet sillage is easy daily wear and fine for the office. It has enough richness for an evening but not the presence for a formal event.

About

No.14 Icila in oil form is the same warm floral as the eau de parfum, poured into a 15 ml roll-on and meant to sit right on the skin. It opens with ruby grapefruit and mandarin leaf, a sparkle of citrus that is quickly softened by jasmine. The heart is where the character sits. Dark plum gives a jammy, slightly shadowed sweetness, osmanthus adds a velvety, apricot-and-suede warmth, and rose is blended in so smoothly that many wearers barely notice it as a separate note. The base is patchouli, kept supportive rather than dominant, with vanilla flower and cherry blossom rounding off a soft fruity-floral finish. Wearers often compare the structure to a modern Chanel Coco Mademoiselle style of floral and patchouli, though the plum makes this one jammier and a little more unusual. An oil base changes how it wears. It sits closer to the body than the spray, with discreet sillage and a steady, decent presence on the skin. That makes it a good fit for daily wear, for layering under the eau de parfum, or for a scent you wear for yourself rather than for the room. It reads best on cool spring days and through autumn and winter, when the plum and patchouli feel at home. On the shelf it sits near Coco Mademoiselle and other fruity-floral patchouli scents, with more jam and less sparkle.
