MATCH Perfumes Tuscan Leather - No.24 is an Eau de Parfum. Tuscan Leather - No.24 opens with Citrus and Leather, settles into a heart of Cedar and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Woody, Musk, and Leather. MATCH Perfumes's Tuscan Leather - No.24 carries an Acquired verdict, a leather-led wear.

A blunter take on Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather - the smoky, animalic leather core is recognisable and the dry-down lands well, but it drops the original's signature raspberry-saffron tartness and 10+ hour beast-mode performance for a shorter, simpler leather-and-cedar ride.

About

Match Perfumes' No.24 skips straight past the original's polarising raspberry-saffron opening and goes straight for the leather - which is the right instinct for a budget dupe, since that's what people actually want from Tuscan Leather. The citrus top is a thin stand-in for the real thing's tart fruit burst, but the saffron-and-cedar heart is a decent echo, dry and slightly spicy. Where it falls short is staying power and depth: the smoky, animalic leather in the original builds into a genuinely dark, rough-edged base that lasts 10-12 hours and clings to fabric for days, while this version smooths out into a milder suede within a few hours and needs reapplication for an evening out. Still a reasonably faithful leather-focused rendition for the price, aimed at fans of the accord rather than purists chasing the exact original.
