Oakcha 1000 AD is an Extrait de Parfum. 1000 AD opens with Angelica, Bergamot, and Pepper, settles into a heart of Rose, Geranium, and Eucalyptus, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Oud, and Guaiac Wood. Oakcha's 1000 AD carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

A peppery, rosy oud that opens bright and settles into smooth sandalwood and smoky guaiac. Oakcha's take on Emeraude Agar, for anyone who wants a polished, wearable oud.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Oud is the point of 1000 AD, and everything around it is built to frame it. The opening is crisp and slightly aromatic. Bergamot gives a clean lift, angelica adds a green, earthy edge and black pepper brings a dry sparkle. The heart turns floral and cool. Geranium and rose give a minty, rosy softness, while eucalyptus keeps the air fresh and stops the oud from feeling heavy too soon. In the dry-down, oud takes over. Sandalwood adds creaminess and guaiac wood adds a smoky, slightly tarry edge. The result is woody, calm and dignified rather than animalic. At extrait strength it sits close at first and then holds steadily on skin and fabric for many hours, so a little goes a long way. It suits anyone who wants oud without a thick, sweet cloud. Wear it in autumn and winter, in the evening, or on a cool spring day when a clean wood feels right. Oakcha no longer sells 1000 AD (its page has been removed from oakcha.com), and this page records it for owners. Bottom line: a fresh, peppery oud with a smooth wooden finish.
