Azure Wood interprets Bentley For Men Azure, a woody-aquatic masculine with a fresh pineapple and violet leaf opening reminiscent of Aventus and Green Irish Tweed. It opens bright and clean with fresh pineapple, green violet leaf, bergamot and tangerine - the pineapple fresh rather than ripe. The heart brings a light tea aroma, aromatic lavender, clary sage and a subtle spicy lift of paprika. The drydown settles into smooth cashmere wood and warm tonka bean. Against the original, this Perfume Parlour version captures the pineapple-violet-leaf signature convincingly but renders the fresh-fruity structure flatter and the woody-tonka finish lighter - it loses a little of the original's smooth, well-built polish. Longevity is moderate, in line with the original's four-to-six hours typical of a fresh scent. It is a fresh, confident fruity-woody masculine for warm spring and summer days, casual and sporty wear and the office - a wallet-friendly route to that crisp Bentley freshness.
