The heart brings a light tea aroma, aromatic lavender, clary sage and a subtle spicy lift of paprika. The drydown settles into smooth cashmere wood and warm tonka bean. Against the original, this Perfume Parlour version captures the pineapple-violet-leaf signature convincingly but renders the fresh-fruity structure flatter and the woody-tonka finish lighter - it loses a little of the original's smooth, well-built polish.
