Cherry Blossom Serenade

Cherry Blossom Serenade opens on a sparkling citrus shimmer - Calabrian bergamot, yellow mandarin and a dewy fleck of pink pepper - exactly the vibrant, dewy-garden start of Acqua di Parma's Sakura. The heart blooms into its namesake cherry-blossom accord, airy, faintly powdery and softly sweet, with jasmine sambac weaving a creamy, green-floral thread through it. A clean musk base keeps the whole thing light and skin-close. The original is prized for its delicate elegance but, like most Acqua di Parma scents, runs soft with around five hours of wear; this dupe mirrors that gentle character, perhaps a touch sweeter, with similarly intimate projection. A serene, romantic spring-and-summer floral for casual days, the office and easy dates.
