Cool Carica is Perfume Parlour's read on Acqua di Parma's hugely popular Fico di Amalfi, the green-fig-and-citrus scent of an Italian summer. It opens with a juicy hit of citron, lemon, bergamot and grapefruit, then a peppery fig heart unfurls with a whisper of jasmine and pink pepper before drying down to a soft benzoin, fig-tree and cedar base. Where the Acqua di Parma is luminous and seamlessly blended, this version reads a touch simpler and sharper, with the milky fig facet slightly pared back. Fico di Amalfi is famously short-lived, so the dupe's close-to-the-skin wear actually feels faithful to the original rather than a downgrade. A breezy, uplifting fig-citrus that's perfect for hot days and an easy budget swap for a designer favourite.
