Intenso Water

Intenso Water opens on a big wave of sea notes braced by bergamot and green mandarin, immediately recalling the cold, aquatic punch of Acqua di Gio Profondo. The heart layers aromatic rosemary, lavender and cypress for that herbal-marine signature, drying down to an inky base of patchouli, amber, musk and mineral facets. The original Profondo is famed for its dark, almost metallic salt-and-stone depth and bold sillage; the dupe captures the silhouette but lands more transparent - the marine accord reads sharper and more synthetic, the mineral base shallower, and the projection that makes the Armani a beast-mode blue is dialled right back here to a skin-close few hours.
