Modest Affection opens on bright, honeyed neroli, the orange-blossom heart that makes Kilian Love, Don't Be Shy so instantly recognisable. A soft floral middle of jasmine and rose carries it before the base melts into powdery iris, creamy vanilla and a clean musk. The original is famous for its plush marshmallow-and-orange-blossom sweetness and a close, inviting aura that lingers for hours; this Perfume Parlour version reads recognisably similar but flatter and lighter, with the vanilla forward and the gourmand marshmallow depth thinned out.
