Modest Affection opens on bright, honeyed neroli, the orange-blossom heart that makes Kilian Love, Don't Be Shy so instantly recognisable. A soft floral middle of jasmine and rose carries it before the base melts into powdery iris, creamy vanilla and a clean musk. The original is famous for its plush marshmallow-and-orange-blossom sweetness and a close, inviting aura that lingers for hours; this Perfume Parlour version reads recognisably similar but flatter and lighter, with the vanilla forward and the gourmand marshmallow depth thinned out. Projection is moderate and longevity sits in the middle band rather than the original's all-day grip. A sweet, flirtatious floral-gourmand best worn in cooler months for date nights and cozy evenings.
