Noir Leather

Noir Leather opens bold and dark, a slick black leather lifted by a bite of pink pepper, the same dramatic entrance that signs Mancera's Black Noir. The heart turns smoky and resinous, tobacco and Cambodian oud folded around a surprising whisper of tiare flower, with patchouli grounding it all in earth. It dries down sweet and warm, vanilla and tonka softening the leather over a base of ambergris and Haitian vetiver. Set beside the original, the Perfume Parlour interpretation keeps that leather-tobacco-oud character recognisable but pushes the sweet vanilla louder and renders the leather a touch more synthetic, so it lacks the velvety, expensive smoothness of Black Noir. Mancera projects like a beast for hours, while here the trail is warmer and closer to the skin, and longevity, though good for the price, stops well short of the original's twelve-hour reputation. For a few pounds it delivers that confident, smoky-leather signature faithfully, made for cool-weather evenings and dressed-up nights.
