The heart turns warm and spicy with cinnamon, rose and a peppery edge, before the famous blond-leather, amber and patchouli base takes over. Paco Rabanne's original is a loud, confident, almost brash crowd-pleaser with beast-mode projection; this dupe captures the DNA convincingly but renders it flatter - the leather is softer and sweeter, the spice less sharp, and the projection that makes the real thing a room-filler is dialled back to a skin-close few hours.
