The dupe captures that cosy, second-skin character well: the drydown lands on creamy vanilla wrapped in sandalwood, resinous benzoin and a faint smoky oud for depth. Compared with the original it reads a fraction sweeter and the woods a little thinner, so it misses some of Phlur's elegant balance and its impressive 12-hour performance. Here, longevity is solid but more moderate, sitting close to the skin. The effect is comforting and quietly sensual - a soft spiced vanilla with a refined woody edge.
