Tender Francis leads with a juicy, almost candied cherry brightened by bergamot and a sparkle of pink pepper - the unmistakable signature of Cartier's Delices de Cartier (2006). The heart softens into powdery violet, jasmine and freesia, giving the fruit a retro, lipstick-floral feel before it settles onto a warm base of amber, tonka bean, musk and a touch of sandalwood. Perfume Parlour's take faithfully reproduces that cherry-violet idea, but the cherry leans a little sweeter and more synthetic-medicinal than the original's juicier read, and the spice up top is more obvious. Longevity is moderate, where the original could stretch to seven-plus hours; here you get a softer, closer-wearing few hours. The overall effect is playful and flirtatious - a fun, slightly nostalgic fruity floral that suits dates and easy days.
