Water Definite

Water Definite opens on a fresh marine accord of sea notes and bergamot with a fruity lift, recalling the bright-yet-deeper start of Acqua di Gio Absolu. The heart layers aromatic rosemary, lavender and geranium before settling into a warm, ambery base of tonka bean, labdanum, patchouli and woods. The Armani original is the richer, cosier flanker - a marine scent pulled toward amber and tonka warmth, edging close to Invictus territory; this dupe captures the silhouette but reads flatter, with a thinner amber drydown and projection that goes skin-close within a few hours. The added warmth makes it more versatile than a pure aquatic, working into autumn and cooler evenings as well as fresh spring days.
